frequently asked questions.
do you accept insurance?
Haven is in network with a number of insurance providers, and I want to make sure you feel informed before starting services. New clients are encouraged to contact their insurance company directly to confirm coverage for mental health services and to make sure our clinic is in network with their specific plan. It’s also a good idea to ask about details like deductibles, co-pays, or session limits so there are no surprises down the road.
do you see couples?
I don’t currently offer couples therapy, but I do work with a lot of individuals who are navigating relationship challenges—whether it’s communication struggles, breakups, or figuring out what they want in a partnership. If you’re specifically looking for couples counseling, I’m happy to help connect you with therapists who specialize in that work.
what if haven isn’t my vibe?
If for any reason haven is not the right fit for you, I want you to know that I’m still here to help. I’m happy to support you in finding a therapist who better matches your needs, preferences, or goals. Your healing matters, and I’ll do my best to guide you toward someone who feels like the right partner on your journey.
do you prescribe medication?
I don’t prescribe medication, but I’m happy to support you in finding a provider who does. If medication is something you’d like to explore, I can offer referrals to trusted professionals who can help you navigate that part of your care.
what are your fees?
Standard individual therapy sessions are 53 minutes and priced at $220. Payment is due at the time of service and clients are asked to keep a credit or debit card on file to streamline the payment process. We’re also happy to provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
